Tattoo Designs

Choosing a tattoo for the first time can be a hard thing to do, especially when the tattoo is going to be permanent on your body for the rest of your life. Now which tattoo designs should you choose? First thing you need to consider is WHY you are getting the tattoo, what is your motive behind the tattoo? What do you want to express through the tattoo? This will surely help you cut down your search options so that you can choose the perfect tattoo design that you want.

Tattoo Designs
Tattoo Designs

I have a few in my mind that I don't mind sharing, so here they are:
- If you enjoy outside stuff such as trees, nature in general, animals, and other things, you can use this as a motivation to get the tattoo in this category.
- Another thing you can think about is if you love art. What kind of artist comes to your mind, what kind of art design comes to your mind and stuff along those areas.
- There are a lot of people out there that use famous people such as poets, music artists and what not.
- These days, I myself have seen many people use Graffiti type of tattoo's on their body all the time.
- Many people these days are also looking at Tribal or Celtic types of tattoo's to show off on their body.
- Some of the other tattoo designs include cultural tattoos, historical tattoos, etc.
- You know what would be a good idea, getting Abstract Tattoo's on your body. I have seen people use this type as well.
- A unique way to express is writing quotes in different languages on your body as well.
- Maybe you can try tattoo mixing? Perhaps mix several different tattoos into some type of tattoo?
You know what would make you really stand out is if you created your OWN type of tattoo. Sure, you can go to a Tattoo parlor and get a random tattoo through a design book, but does it really make sense to be unoriginal? Would you not like to be creative and want to stand out from the crowd? You can create your own types of tattoo(s) if you want. Let me share a few ideas with you just to give you a head start.
- Neck to Leg, Full out Fire Dragon on back or front of body
- Crying baby from your neck to your legs on your back or front
These are just a few ideas that you may consider. In all my years of tattoo designing and studying, I have never seen those kinds of tattoos done to anyone before, so this may be a good chance for you to snag a pretty good design or designs.
Now you maybe thinking, why create my own tattoos when I can just get a already created one? As I've said above, it's better to be unique than to carry an overused tattoo. You can add your OWN personal touch to your tattoo. Add as much detail you want to your tattoo, as much as you want. Just remember than the bigger in details your tattoo is, the more expensive your tattoo may get, depending on which tattoo parlor you go to, just keep that in mind.
There is one type of tattoo that interests me the most out of everything and that is Full Sleeve Tattoo Designs. What is it you may ask? Full sleeve tattoo design is the popularity tattoo designs that not are only carried by a regular person, but famous people such as celebrities, soccer players, football players, basketball players and other sports people carry, as well as many other types of famous people.
One of the main reasons as to why people really do this type of tattooing is because they want to unravel a story that they are trying to give off. For example, I have seen a famous soccer player that carries a full arm tattoo and his tattoo signifies what he loves, which is soccer and the love for his country. People in this type of tattooing always express personal touches and personal expressions.
There is one thing that I would like to warn you about and what to do about it. You are going to be stuck with a tattoo for a LONG, LONG time, so you might as well choose a tattoo worth your while. So you should do what some famous people have done. Start your tattoo design off small, meaning start your tattoo design small and then work your way up from there. The beauty of having new technology is that you can see how a tattoo will look on you before you wear it, so be sure to look on the computer to see if the tattoo is right for you or not. Start off with a small tattoo and then work your way from there. Carefully choose every portion of your tattoo remembering that you WILL be stuck with this tattoo for a very long time. You may want to put several small tattoos together to make a larger tattoo or you could put a few large tattoos together to make a rather large, but unique tattoo to show off.
So basically, after all of the information I have shared with you in this article, I just want to sum it all up by giving you a short summary. What I have talked to you above in this article can be summarized like this:
1. Gather up a design idea for your tattoo (either from a design book or your own design)
2. Finalize on a design that will perfectly suit you and the type of person you are.
3. Find a tattoo artist
a. This shouldn't be much of a hard task at all. Every city has tattoo designs, just look on the Internet if you have trouble.
4. Test your tattoo design
5. Have your tattoo design done on your body.

Sexy Wrist Tattoo designs

If you have ever seen the distinctive Maori tattoo designs, you already know how beautiful and dramatic that they are. Maori tattoo designs are striking, but their meaning is not always readily understood. What do these permanent marks mean, and how are they interpreted? If you are curious about this type of design, there are a few facts that can get you started.
Maori tattoo designs are quite distinctive, and they originate from the Maori people of New Zealand, where tattooing is considered a sacred art. In this distinctive type of tattooing, you'll find that you'll see a lot of curved shapes and spirals that conform to an intricate and recognizable pattern.
You'll find that while smaller spirals might predominate the design, you can often step back and see them forming a larger pattern in general. Maori tattoo designs often cover the face, though they can be seen on any part of the body.

Tattoo Designs

Tattoo Design Ideas and Suggestions

For women and girls, tattoo ideas may be different than those for men. A lower back tattoo (just above the rounded swell of their buttocks) for instance is a common tattoo for women to think of. Usually, the tattoo design idea is a spread out tattoo (mostly a tribal and sometimes a flower or butterfly) that is inked in the center of the lower back. Another tattoo idea for women is to have one at the base of the nape, but this cool idea is more visible than others which can give complications with work. The tattoo idea at the base of the nape can be a small design (for instance an animal, symbols or writing in a different language) or the lengthier tribal design which spreads from the left to the right. Since it is less visible, some women like a tattoo at their shoulder instead of at the base of the nape. This part of the body can also move which can give the impression of a moving tattoo.

For men, there are many different kinds of tattoo design ideas which are not at all similar in design to tattoos that women prefer.

Men focus more on things that are manly in nature. The choice actually depends on the preference of the male who wants to have a tattoo. It can be anything that inspires the man. There are some tattoos that are more preferred by males than females (for example chains, dragons or snakes, cryptic words or images and much more). If a man is into a sport or likes guns,
the probability that he is likely to have related things tattooed is high. For a person who is into Heavy Metal and Goth the tattoo design is most likely to be in these lines as well. Many men also like to have symbols or words tattooed on their body.

These days these are a popular choice, especially symbols and words that they feel have a great meaning in their lives. Usually they are connected to ones culture and heritage. Some people like to have entire paragraphs inked unto their bodies. Shorter versions of these are words of love for their loved ones or phrases of inspiration. Some men who are more aware of the implications of having a tattoo may prefer smaller tattoos which are not visible or conspicuous when they are at work or with other people. Another popular tattoo design is a cross (with many men and also with some women). This can be small enough to be hidden or as large as one wants. It can be designed in such way that it can look either plain or intricate.

The design for a tattoo depends on the preferences of the person who wants to have the tattoo and what he/she tells the tattoo artist to do. It might be an event in his/her life which has inspired him/her to have a tattoo done which is described to the tattoo artist. The actual design can be a commemoration of the said event.

Before you actually have your tattoo design inked you need to consider the idea before acting on it.

You have to keep in mind the fact that you might have problems with work (for instance there are certain establishments that prefer to have their employees free of any tattoos and other forms of body art). Another thing that can also be limited is travelling to some foreign countries due to restrictions that these countries have regarding people with tattoos. If you have a tattoo design idea and you would like to follow through with it, it may be best to try it out small and in an inconspicuous parts of the body initially.

Butterfly Tattoo Designs For Female Tattoos

One of the most sought after tattoo designs today is the butterfly tattoo. This design is more attractive to women, although there are also people who use it. The butterfly is one of the most beautiful and colorful creatures that we often see around. They are soft and pleasant to look not like the scary-looking insects. And although there are some other nice-looking bugs, butterflies are still regarded as the best. In addition, the butterfly tattoo designs are popular for many reasons. For one, because they are naturally colored, the user can use the colors that she wanted the butterfly tattoo. Plus, the unique patterns on butterfly wings individuals can provide an opportunity to get creative and produce a good design.

tattoos care for girls | women tattoos

Maybe it's because I'm good with makeup or lucked out having the right skin tone but it WORKED. Just follow the directions. It's simple! The product alone isn't going to magically cover your tattoo. You have to use the right technique, and they give you clear instructions.

Use some common sense, if you need to apply more, do so. Apply around the tattoo too.. and BLEND that area.. ON the tattoo it needs to be cakey, but the powdery stuff will keep it in place. If it's not exactly the right color you can add some colored powder you already have to adjust.

I used this on a BLACK tattoo on my wrist for my friend's wedding and it was amazing.. if you look close you can see there is some different texture to the area, but in pictures it looked like there was no difference to the area at all. I had a ribbon type thing I made to wear at the reception in case it ended up fading, but it lasted.

Covermark, the most trusted name in concealment cosmetics, offers the best way to temporarily and completely hide tattoos. Tames even the deepest, darkest design. Kit offers everything you need to tame tattoos, quickly, easily, painlessly, without anyone detecting they are there.

Christian Cross Tattoos for girls | Tattoos for girls

A great variety of Christian symbols have been turned into tattoo images, none more so than the cross. Christian cross tattoos portraying a variety of the cross are always abundant; after all, this is the most appropriate and most familiar Christian image of all.

Some cross tattoos show Jesus on the cross, while others show the cross, often with realistic wood graining, with a crown of thorns hung over one arm. Other cross tattoos consists of crossed nails such as big, rough looking nails like those that were used to hang Jesus on the cross.

Other popular Christian cross tattoo images include the Celtic cross (probably one of the most popular Christian tattoos of all), the Russian cross, and the Egyptian 'ankh', a cross with a circular shape on top, the ancient Egyptian symbol for 'life'.

Besides the cross, there are other Christian images that are often used in Christian cross tattoos. The fish symbol is a great illustration based on assorted biblical references, a stylized fish symbol is frequently used as a symbol of Christ. This is a compact, but quite prominent symbol that lends itself well to tattooing, especially in black.

However, there are also other tattoos that may be gang related such as the Hispanic Christian Cross Tattoos.

They are an interesting sub-group. If you know anything about their traditions, you won't be too surprised to learn that most Mexicans and other Hispanic people, even though they are involved in gangs or other criminal activities, are deeply religious and rely on their Christian symbols to both identify and protect them.

These Christian cross tattoos are rather complex, many involve a tattooed image of a saint, Jesus, or the Virgin Mary. Hispanic tattoos often have words, as well, usually a Bible verse, perhaps accompanied by a loved one's name. Many Mexican gang members have multiple sophisticated tattoos, allowing the individual to literally wear his identity and emotions on his skin, if not his sleeve!

Maori Tattoo

Unveiling their Occult Inner Meanings Maori Tattoo

Avoiding Common Mistakes. If you are looking for Maori tattoo design you a unique, highly recommended to be aware of several factors relating to Maori culture to avoid some common mistakes people make when approaching this special meaning and design.

Maori TattooMany people choose to get tattoos today. It is also noticed that maori tattoo design choices are often made by people looking for tribal tattoos. Maori tattoo designs seem to be at the forefront of the tattoo when it comes to choosing the perfect tattoo and made since, as you can check this wonderful and interesting design.

Many tattoo artists and tattoo customers will often imitate other cultures and tattoo designs to try to come up with unique designs of their own. Although artistic talent may cause, of course not occur when approaching the traditional maori tattoo design.

Understanding The Maori Culture

The first step in understanding this unique culture will understand their terminology. All layers of society have and use the term unique to their own particular culture or tribe, and so did the people of New Zealand known as the Maoris. For example: Ta Moko is the name of the identification of the Maoris families forming part of a group known as the Whakapapa.

One of the main reasons that this design forms an important and solid role in their culture is the ability to track the Maoris of their ancestors from generation to generation. Tattoos are also serving them, while fighting on the battlefield, to know who they are fighting against, as their life really depends on the specific works of art are etched on their bodies.

Maori TattooSome Maoris were still able to trace their families using this tattoo. There are heads that can see Maori tattoo designs, and read like an open book. They do this by feeling the texture, see the design and precision that went into the etched tattoos and by that, will be able to trace back some Maori family tree.

Even today, there are some Maoris in New Zealand has a Maori tattoo dates back 2,000 years! Another interesting fact that most fans do not realize the tattoo when she saw a tattoo design maori tattoos is that each requires a true story, and each story tells a story about the origins of a particular ethnic group, their beliefs, their spiritual world and much more. So far we have dealt with Ta form but another part, or missing word is Moko, and Moko Maori tattoo is part of the actual carving out of the skin.

Traditionally, the Maori used bone albatrosses and other cutting tools to etch a tattoo. These tools cut the groove into the skin. Coloring is used to represent the family history and the story is told by the actual pattern on the skin, like that, an old tribe will be able to tell the history to see Moko design and of course the skin pattern. Traditionally, Maori tattoo designs done in advance, however, back in the day, they also performed on the body. An important thing to note is that the people who have this design done on their faces important figures in their tribes. That is how they are distinguished from others in the tribe.

One Culture, Many Fans & One common, Very Big, Mistakes To Avoid

Maori TattooCommon now for the west to this design: it can be considered as a way to promote Maori culture; when in fact, it is considered Maoris steal form of Maori traditions and culture. Someone can not just take the symbols, pictures or words from Mauritania or Maori culture without knowing what they represent. To the Maoris, is seen as an insult. Can you imagine a walk with some family history of Maoris in the back or arm? The only way you may find yourself in a situation like this is if you go out and start copying each maori tattoo design that you meet.

Do you want to know what people think of Maoris and the whites who stole the other culture tattoo designs maori them? Among the Maoris, white people called "Pakeha" and was known for never ask but just take (in terms of culture and land) they also see most of the western as close-minded, never saw anything except themselves, let alone other cultures. Not surprisingly enough, Native Americans, too, said the same thing about white people in America.

The Maoris claim that maori tattoo designs is not done properly weaken their spirituality and culture. They also consider the west as a thief because they do not have their own originality as a maori tattoo design. So, how would this affect your decision to discover this ancient form of Polynesian art?

For starters, the simplest thing you can do is to not go out and copy the first maori tattoo designs that you see on the Maori in New Zealand. Maori TattooYou'll be amazed how many people have done that! The fastest way to get a unique traditional maori tattoo design will contact someone in New Zealand who leads a tribe or a tribal tattoo artists, their email design you like and ask if that design was not other people's designs. Although this may seem absurd, as mentioned earlier, we should show some sensitivity to the culture that has been shrinking over the last 200 years. Taking advantage of the power of the Internet, this can be done within days.

Only when maori tattoo designs copied from someone else in the Maori tribe that makes them feel that their spirituality was stolen. By Adi Gazit and Olga Zitner

The Perfect Tattoo Designs in the Right Place

Perfect tattoo designs do not only depend on style, size and colours. It does not really matters if it is big or small, a coloured dragon or a black and white tribal tattoo design - even the most beautiful tattoo designs look bad if placed in the wrong places.

Here is a little help for you to decide where to get inked:

- First point is PAIN. Choose according to your capacity to withstand pain. Some parts of your skin are more sensitive than others. Those spots should be avoided if you are the kind of person that does not really like suffering. Your tattooist will probably inform you that neck and ankles as much as ribs are some of the most sensitive areas. Usually the areas where it hurts more are those right over bones.

Believe me; you do not want to get your first tattoo on your ribs.

Or let's say it in another way: if you are looking for an intense experience, then those could be the right spots for you to get a big and coloured tattoo design.

Of course, the more the tattoo design is complicated and coloured, the longer will be the tattoo session, the longer and intense will be the pain.

I am not trying to scare you, it always depend on your pain threshold. There really are people able to fall asleep during the session.

- Second point: How badly do you want others to see your new wonderful tattoo design? Depending on its size and shape there are a few "secret places" where you could hide a tattoo, and let only a few know about it. Have a look at where Megan Fox' "Brian" tattoo (dedicated to her great love and partner Brian Austin green) is placed.

If you want the world to admire your piece of body art, well then probably arms, hands and neck are the most visible places for tattoos - unless you are going to get a face tattoo. But then comes point three into consideration.

- Point three: Before getting a tattoo it is very important to spend some moments considering your professional position. As a matter of facts, not everyone loves tattoos. Some people could consider them vulgar, or even get scared from them. If you have (or you wish you had) a job which foresees frequent contacts with customers, you should better avoid getting tattoo designs on your hands or face. Just get them where it is possible to hide them, like arms, legs, back or shoulder. There is plenty of space on your body for tattoo designs, which won't cost you your job.

Tattoo Lettering

Different Tattoo Lettering

By Marya Wordsworth

For centuries people have used images to display their intention for all to see, but, as with any new era, new phenomena appear in the form of tattoo lettering. Italic tattoo lettering is one of the hundreds of font styles for you to choose from. But the Tattoo Letteringitalic font is one that shows the class and most of the way really nice to express yourself.

Popular, but personally, the way that many people choose to enter a letter into the tattoo is to have it in or accompanying the tattoo. That way you can feature the best of both worlds in one tattoo and still have personal meaning you want.

While the most popular and often think of the color that will be used is black, do not limit yourself. Try your favorite color or mixture of colors, even a rainbow in the text, to give you a tattoo italics higher sense of creativity, uniqueness and personality. After all, your tattoo will talk about you and to you for the rest of your life.

Selecting the text what the ink on your body is probably the second most important Tattoo Letteringthing to consider when deciding to get a italic tattoo lettering, the first is the fonts themselves. You want something meaningful and uniquely yours, but at the same time you may not want a tattoo that will either get angry or throw people for a loop when trying to find out what it means and then why did you choose it. That, of course, unless it is your intention.

Another thing that you should put under high consideration is where to put the italic tattoo lettering. Many people, men and women, who choose to have ink on their backs. The main reason is that you're back is the largest and most flat of your body, which makes a great blank canvas for many different tattoos, especially a larger or contain phrases. Women seem to find that tattoo put italics on the back of their lower add a little sex appeal, while men seem to use all of them back to display like that.

However you go, it would be a big piece that you will treasure for the rest of your Tattoo Letteringlife. Do you want your name, your child's name (or the names of your children), your zodiac sign, name your pet, your favorite phrase or anything else you can think of, tattoos italics are the perfect solution for everything.

Do not forget to put your mind where you want to put your tattoo italics because that would be a permanent mark for years to come; and, of course, do not forget to be creative in the color or colors you choose. You want to make this something that is yours and yours alone. No matter what you choose to write and where you choose to write, it would be a striking work of art that everyone will enjoy.
